Why a slug? Well, a slug
is easy to catch. A slug is a deceptively simple looking creature
that survives in a world of much more refined and complicated animals,
animals that move quickly and have more resources at their
disposal. A slug sticks close to home and has humble ambitions
that only occasionally involve world domination. A slug is a
hermaphrodite with an extremely beautiful mating process.
And a slug makes a nice simple logo shape for signs and road directions.
This was the original Volksmovie logo. It still works and still might be used on occasion.
